Ingredients:
- 6 tbsp yogurt/Mor.
- 2 1/2 cups water.
- 1 tsp salt.
- 1 /2 lemon juice/nimbu(optional).
- 4 -5 sprigs of coriander leaves/Kothamalli.
- 4-5 curry leaves/karivepilai.
- 1 small ginger piece/Inji.
- 1 green chili/Pacha milagai.
- 1 small shallot or 1-2 pieces of red onion/vengayam.
- Wash coriander, curry leaves, green chili, and ginger.
- Cut shallots and grind it along with other ingredients to a coarse paste.
- Add yogurt to a big deep bowl and churn it with buttermilk beater(I used a traditional wooden beater. You can use a stainless steel one or give a pulse in your blender).
- Add salt and required water to the bowl.Mix salt using a spoon or use a cup to transfer between the bowl and cup.This will help the salt mixed with water.
