Chapathi noodles/Kids Snack Ideas/Leftover recipes

This is my very favourite item using the leftovers.I saw a TV show long time back and tried this recipe 2-3 times .My husband is not a fan of this dish,so i do it when he is not around .Very easy to put together when you have some left over chapathis in hand .Your kids will be pleased after you make them this noodles. Over all its a healthy colorful snack which vanishes in no time .
You can add  available veggies carrot,corn ,bell pepper ,cabbage ,peas ,broccoli  etc .You can add some tomato ketchup also if your kids like them .

cooking time:10 min
serves:2



Ingredients:

  • 3 chapathis
  • 1 corn grated
  • 3 tbsp green peas
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 green chili
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp oil 
  • few cilantro /coriander leaves
  • salt as required
Method:

  • Heat the leftover chapathis and roll them.
  • Cut them thin when they are rolled .

  • Keep this aside.

  • Heat the tava and add oil to it .
  • Add ginger garlic paste and add chopped onions .

  • Saute them until translucent .

  • Add the veggies and saute them for 2-3 minutes or until they becomes little tender(half cooked)

  • Add the chopped noodles(chapathi) and add some salt if required.
  • Toss them well together using two spoons .

  • Garnish it with fresh cilantro leaves /coriander leaves.







Note:
  • There is no hard and fast rules for this noodles .Add whatever veggies you wish .
  • You can serve it for breakfast,snack ,dinner.
  • You can temper it with ghee instead of oil if you want it little rich .
  • You can also add some nuts like groundnuts ,badam .
  • Add some chili powder if you love heat.

  1. Actually I used to do this chapati noodles in a different way.Like adding spices to it.Buy during mornings ur version is perfect.Will try it soon when I am running short of time
