Eggless Banana cake | Pressure Cooker Cake | Video Recipe

       Eggless Banana Cake - a moist cake made with pressure cooker.I have been getting request for a pressure cooker based cake since i started blogging.I have tried it 2 -3 times since then.But missed taking pictures of it.This time i got a video recipe(as a bonus) of Eggless pressure cooker banana cake.Hope you guys like the video.Share your thoughts in the video,so that i can do more of it if you guys like it.

I added walnuts to make the cake more interesting ,but you can add what ever nuts you have at hand.You can double or triple the recipe if you wish.

                                         Eggless Banana Cake | Pressure Cooker Cake

 Cuisine: International  Category:Snack | Dessert    Prep time:5 minutes Cook time:30-40 minutes


Ingredients:
  • 1 ripe banana.
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence.
  • 2 tbsp sugar.
  • 2 tbsp oil.
  • 4 tbsp yogurt.
  • 6 tbsp whole wheat flour.(can substitute all purpose flour).
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder.
  • 3 walnuts chopped fine(add more if you like nuts).
  • pinch of cinnamon powder.(optional)
Preparation :
  • Preheat pressure cooker in low heat for 10-15 minutes.
  • Mash the bananas well and keep it ready.
How to make Egg less pressure cooker banana cake:
  • Add oil to mashed banana and fold in.
  • Add sugar,vanilla essence and Mix everything up.
  • Finally add yogurt to this mixture and mix everything well so there is no lumps.
  • Add baking powder to wheat flour  and mix it.
  • Add cinnamon powder also to wheat flour if you have some.
  • Add dry ingredients(wheat flour mixture) to wet ingredients little by little and mix it to form a cake batter.
  • Finally add chopped walnuts and mix up.
  • Grease pressure cooker plate or any plate that can fit in pressure cooker.
  • Add the cake mix to the greased pressure cooker plate.
  • Place holed pressure cooker plate(base plate) down on pressure cooker and keep the cake dough plate above it and cook this in low flame for 30-40 minutes or until tooth pick pricked in the middle comes out clean.
  • Cool the cake and make pieces of desired shape.
  • Enjoy banana cake with your family.
