How to make mango lassi - a sweet treat from Punjab.Everybody from India know of this lassi for sure.Mangoes are in season at the end of school year in India.Vacation-Summer starts in India during April.When we were kids,we used to eat mango ..mango.. mango anytime ..For dessert, Side dish or as a Snack.Lassi is basically a drink made with yogurt as the base.You can prepare endless combination of lassi with vegetables and fruits.With cucumber you can make a salt lassi ,Pulse your favorite strawberry in the yogurt to make a Strawberry lassi or You can make peach lassi like i did.So its up to you to choose your favorite combination.

How to make punjabi sweet lassiCuisine: Indian Category:Dessert Serves:2 glasses Prep time:5 minutes Cook time:nil Total Time:5 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cup yogurt.
- 1/2 cup milk.
- 2 tsp sugar.(adjust according to your taste)
- 1 mango(atolfu).
- Cardamom(optional).
So how you can prepare mango lassi with simple ingredients :
- Clean and wash the mangoes.Peel them.
- Chop in to pieces your blender or mixer can hold.
- Add 1/2 cup of yogurt or milk and blend it to smooth paste.
- Add remaining yogurt,milk and sugar.Blend it few mores times until the mixture is smooth enough.
- Add cardamom and ice cubes if necessary.
- Sweet Punjabi mango lassi is ready to be served.If you are sering it imm keep it in fridge until serving.
Note:
- I used yogurt and milk straight from fridge.So i haven't used any ice cubes.
- Don't use fibrous mango,any ripe mango will work for this lassi.
- If the mango is not sweet enough better add more sugar.
- Don't use sour yogurt ,it may spoil the taste of lassi.
- To make more thin mango lassi use more milk.
- In this recipe i used 1 mango, if you prefer more you can add so.
So creamy and filling lassi.. I can have anytime
