Tip to make crispier and tasty rava dosa:
  •  Patience is what you need to get the dosa brown and crisp .
  •  Add more water and make sure its of  pouring consistency like buttermilk.
  • When there is so much water, you can go ahead and sprinkle the batter on the tava.
  • No need to turn/flip the dosa, dosa will lose its crispiness or otherwise remove/peel the extra batter after its cooked and keep in stove until crispier.
  •  Use regular sooji.Avoid fine sooji/idly rava.
  •  To make onion rava sprinkle onion on bottom of tava, add dosa batter on top.
  • Use a flat pan large enough to make dosa of desired size.
  • No need of covering the dosa .
  • Make sure to take the dosa when bottom is crisp, otherwise you end up in sticky mess.
