I always love to make everything at home that too from scratch .Its a little tough sometimes but its fun and when i eat them i will be more than happy.My little girl loves to eat pizza who doesnt love pizza ?So i wanted to do pizza at home .My concern is it has to be healthy too .So i searched for whole wheat recipes and i landed here .
This pizza is very soo good as we make it home and we can give kids as much as they like.This wheat pizza uses your pantry ingredients except instant yeast .So enjoy making pizza home and dont forget to write me.

Yields:2 medium pizza.
Ingredients:
- 2 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 1/4 cup water
- 1 1/2 tsp instant yeast
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 3/4 tsp salt.
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Method:
- In a large mixing bowl add sieved whole wheat flour.
- Add yeast,salt.sugar to it and mix well.
- Make a well in the middle and add oilve oil to it .
- Add water little by little and mix well using your hands or using a stand mixer.
- When it comes together cover it with lid and let it rest for 40-50 min.
- After it doubles in size punch them with your fingers.
- Roll them using rolling pin .
- Bake them at 350 degrees with your favourite pizza sauce and veggies for 20-25 min in the preheated oven.
- Add fresh herbs if any (i added fenugreek leaves ) and bake for another 5 min.
- Add parmesan cheese or cheese of your choice (i added grated parmesan with some kraft sliced cheese) and bake for another 5 min or until the cheese melts.
- Serve it hot .
- Enjoy your dinner.
Note:
- Adding dry yeast sometimes wont work.I used instant yeast which doesn't require warm water for kneading .
- Apply more pizza sauce to make it more yummy .
- Adults can reduce cheese part if they wish .I used cheese slices available .Use fresh mozzarilla to get the original taste .

DeleteMy reason of taking short cuts to pizza is simply because of time factor. Therefore the short cut is buying pita or anything close to pizza dough, adding whatever I like on top and bake it. Of course, nothing beats the home made version. Salute you for that.

DeleteWe only use whole wheat for pizza or anything require white flour, always substitute with WW. its healthy and we can enjoy it without guilt. nice pizza
