Oatmeal bread-one more bake made without any bread machine.Off late i am baking at least once a week. This has become my hobby, i tried wheat bread with slight variation adding oats flour to it.Most people add bread flour instead of all purpose flour that too in high quantity. It's not the point in making a healthy bread at home (at least to me).So i used less all purpose flour. It came out really good ,equally good compared to store bought bread.
This Oatmeal bread stay fresh for 3 days ,after that it becomes dry.Without any fungal formation it stays good for up to one week in 70 degrees Fahrenheit. You can try adding warm milk or add 1 cup of all purpose flour instead of 1/2 makes the bread exactly like store bought bread.Oats makes the bread dense (it needs more water, but i am not sure how much water added)because of less water content in the dough.Oatmeal bread dough takes in as much water you add to it.Don't toast the oats too much.toasted oats take even more water than quick toasting.
If you are looking for some baked bread you can check no knead bread, pav buns/dinner rolls.
