Quinoa adai a nutritious adai prepared with psuedocereal quinoa.I love adai(lentils crepes) because of the fact it is filling and easy compared to regular dosa and requires no fermentation.If you have guest at home on evenings ,without any second thought you can prepare this quinoa adai for dinner.

Quinoa adai is light compared to traditional adai.I replaced raw rice with quinoa.If you want to eat quinoa but somehow hate it because of its smell then this preparation of adai (masks) helps you get rid of your smell fear.Just in case while pouring you get the smell ,but you can eat it without any fear(you may not feel you are eating adai prepared of quinoa)..

How to make quinoa adaiCuisine: Indian Category:Breakfast / Dinner Serves:4-5 Cook time:2 minutes for 1 dosaPrep time:5 hours
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup quinoa.
- 1 cup idly rice.
- 1/2 cup urad dal/uluntham paruppu.
- 3/4 toor dal/tuvaram paruppu.
- 1/4 cup chana dal/kadala paruppu.
- 4 red chilies.
- 1 tbsp fennel seeds/sombu.
- 1 tsp jeera/jeeragam.
- 1 onion.
- few coriander leaves.
- Soak quinoa separate.
- Soak rice and Dal's together.
- First powder fennel,jeera,red chili.
- Then add quinoa and grind it.
- Add rice and Dal's and grind it to coarse mixture.
- Add chopped coriander,onion and turmeric.
- Add hing to the mixture.
- Add salt as well to the adai mix.
- Mix it well and make it to pourable mixture.
- Heat dosa tava/pan.Add this mixture and make circles using the ladle ,starting from the center.Add enough oil and cover it.

- When quinao adai is cooked, flip and add more oil .
- When the adai is evenly brown take it and serve it with chutney of your choice.
- My choice would be milagai podi,carrot chutney,bell pepper chutney,Coconut chutney
