Korma/Kuruma is a thick gravy prepared by grinding coconut ,but stew's are prepared with coconut milk.
We love mushrooms in all forms i make gravy for chapathi.I make biryani and fried rice for lunch .Other than that i saute the mushroom with peas and make poriyal/sabzi with it.
One fine day while making appam i want to prepare a side dish to go along with it..In kerala people make stew for appam but in tamilnadu we make korma .I had few mushrooms in hand, so prepared this korma. Its was super delicious..This is a south Indian style korma goes well with dosa, roti, idli, appam and other breakfast items too.
You can also make it mix vegetables and follow the same procedure.
